Wonderfully Made is 1!

Hi Everyone- Wow it's been ages since I've posted anything! Apologies! In my defense I was away for the whole of January visiting family in Australia and since getting home it all been go go go workwise!

My first class of 2013 was with my Neath ladies where we used an array of items from the sale-a-bration flyer to make a set of 5 cards and a little box to contain them all. Unfortuntaley I don't have a picture because I gave away one set to one of my Resolven ladies (seeing as their class would have been while I was away, they missed out on that particular project so I popped their names in a hat and pulled out a winner!) and the other set got damaged unfortunately!

However, I do have lots of photo's of projects since then! hooray!

The first is our Feb/March class projects- Seeing as Mother's day was coming up I thought we should make a super feminine card and gift that could be given to any lady, not just Mothers! We used the "one in a million" stamp set so the ladies could choose which ever sentiment pair they wanted. The most "Mother's Day" of all being "You mean so much to so many people, one of them is me". Photographed however is another version using a more birthday like sentiment!

This year it's my aim to teach my ladies more techniques so the theme of that particular class was "Paper Flowers". We rolled paper roses and scrunched paper carnations! The little gift there is a magnetic memo peg :) I just love the "Twitterpaited" designer series paper we used too- That has to be my favourite pattern in the whole pack!

These photos are from last night's class. Wonderfully Made was one year old this month! so we celebrated by making a cheery birthday card and cute little post it note holder. Better yet we finished off the evening with cupcakes and a gorgeous romanian sponge cake made by one of my lovely class ladies. Layers of victoria sponge, fresh fruit and chantilly cream. GORGEOUS!! Below is a picture of me and the lovely Rosana who so kindly baked for us!

I also made little keepsake bookmarks for all my ladies to take home as a thank you for attending my classes. The stamp is from the "Trust God" set and totally sums up the whole Wonderfully Made ethos!

Well, what a year its been! ive taught 24 classes and close to 40 different ladies, made fab new friends and I've loved every minute! Here's to the next 12 months!!

Christmas came early in Resolven...

Just a quick fly by blog post about my recent Christmas workshop in Resolven!

We all had a fantastic day crafting away while listening to christmas music and we all felt thoroughly festive by the end of the day!

The ladies favourite craft was the christmas banner. We had a mixture of christmassy words used on their projects- the best of all had to be a combined mother/daughter effort! Cath (mum) chose "PEACE" while her daughter hannah chose "QUIET". Brilliant!

I am in the middle of preparations for the Neath workshop this thursday so it's all go go go once again.

Will be sure to post pics of that one too! :)
